I started training with Junak when I was 4 years old. Through the carefully planned training process I learned about fair play, respect, friendship, and resilience which helped me with my chosen sport. I have been a competitive Judo athlete for over 12 years, and in 2014 I earned a bronze medal at the Pan-American cup. There is no doubt that without the skills, work habits, and discipline I learned from the program at a young age, I would not have developed into the athlete I am today. Junak didn’t just teach me how to play sports, it taught me how to be a well-rounded and successful athlete.
